Hey, guys... What would I need to do to get a copy of that Wembley concert with Vinnie. I, too, have an incomplete copy. Mine starts with Toni Braxton in the dress. Did I miss much?

Lovedrum, you didn't miss too much. Are you in the US? If so, email me and we can work out a trade. If you're in the UK or Europe it's probably easier if JohnnyDrum helps you out. Actually there are 2 versions of this show, a 90 minute and a 2hr. The original airing was on BBC1 without ads and was 2hrs....I had that one until a "friend" borrowed it indefinitely. The one I have now was shown over here on the Trio channel with ads, so it was cut to 90 mins. It's still great tho.

Hey, Roy, how's it goin...
I feel your pain, man...
...same thing happened to me w/ the infamous VC/Tim Landers '84 USA tour clinic recording... altho it was an accident on my good friend's part, it still didn't buffer the PAIN [NOT as in "Jim"-]...
...to his credit [& a guilty conscience!], he handed over his prized Zappa-SUAPYG 3-record set to me [which was a very good, altho not quite equal, consolation ]...
It's an LP [aaargh]... another close friend of mine gave me a burned disc version of same album[s]... u guys know how the tunes are intercut w/ each other [with the humorous interlude dialogues - if u have this release]? Well, the burner software read the splices between the cuts wrong in many places - tacking the intro to some of the tunes onto the END of the preceding tune [aaak - any1 else experience this whacked-out phenom?]... - but i appreciated the gesture ;=)]....

Cool

Hi guys....thanks for the heads-up from the mighty Roy....as he quite rightly says....if any of you guys are in the Uk, I'll be more than happy to help spread the Songs & Visons concert -I've sent massages to both lovedrum & leedavies on this topic....waiting for replies.
I've been alerted to the existence of another Sting live concert with Vinnie, which I think was originally broadcast in japan sometime in '94.I think this was mentioned in an earlier thread, where somebody talked about Vinnie's snare sound? - his signature Yamaha piccolo, and the concert referred to was the same as a Sting bootleg I'm always revisiting, called Arogato -if this is avavilable on video...then i'd really love a copy!!!
Any info - we can set up trades, whatever....over to the assembled pool of knowledge.......
